Adventure Arts Theatre Company seeks an Emerging Producer to support The Wizard and The Mechanic, a community-driven touring theatre production designed for outdoor and non-traditional spaces. The show integrates individuals with learning disabilities into performances through engagement workshops. This freelance role runs ASAP-Jan 2026, with a minimum fee of £4,000 for 20-25 days. The producer will collaborate with the Artistic Director and Creative/Exec Producer on production coordination, scheduling, marketing, finance, and liaising with venues and community groups to ensure smooth delivery. Ideal for an early-career producer passionate about accessible theatre and community engagement, the role includes mentorship from an Outdoor Arts Producer and CPD training in evaluation and environmental responsibility. This opportunity may lead to further freelance work with Adventure Arts. Strong administrative and organizational skills. Ability to manage relationships with artists, venues, and community groups. Interest in outdoor arts, community engagement, and accessibility. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Desirable: Experience with diversity and accessibility in the arts. A driving license and access to transport. A DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one). Some experience developing and producing projects across art forms. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn, with a strong commitment to inclusivity and creative collaboration. Assist the Artistic Director and Creative/Exec Producer in managing the production. Coordinate scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and health & safety paperwork. Support marketing and communications, including social media updates. Liaise with venues, community groups, and other partners. Attend production meetings and rehearsals, providing administrative support. Facilitate engagement activities and ensure clear communication with participants. Maintain financial records and contribute to funding reports. Support environmental sustainability and evaluation activities. The Emerging Producer will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of The Wizard and The Mechanic, fostering collaboration across creative and community partners.
