We’re seeking a proactive, enthusiastic Events Assistant Manager to support our growing After School Programme. You’ll assist with daily operations, admin, and delivering high‑quality performing arts experiences for children across multiple school sites.

Job Description

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a creative environment, enjoys organisation and administration, working with children, and is excited by the opportunity to help grow our After School Programme across multiple school sites.

Starting at 5 hours per week, you will work closely with the Company Manager to support the day to day running of the organisation, assist with administration, and help deliver high quality performing arts experiences for primary aged children. This is a varied, fast paced role with plenty of room to grow into a full time, hybrid position!

Pay starts at £12.71 per hour and will quickly increase along with the hours as we plan to make this a full time position!

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities
Working alongside the Company Manager to grow and develop the After School Programme across Worcestershire and surrounding areas.
Supporting day to day administrative tasks, including communication with schools, parents and staff.
Ability to cover teach Musical Theatre classes at short notice when required (at an added teacher rate of pay)
Demonstrating a strong working knowledge of safeguarding and ensuring best practice across all sites.
Managing and supporting a team consistently and effectively alongside the Company Manager.
Assisting with projects across multiple school sites, ensuring smooth delivery and excellent communication.

Desirable
Full UK driving licence.
Chaperone License
First Aid Qualification
Living in Worcestershire or surrounding areas.

Job Responsibilities

Essential Skills & Experience
Highly reliable and able to meet deadlines.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Clear, thorough and positive communication skills.
Strong administrative experience (2-3 years in an admin role).
Experience communicating professionally and warmly with customers.
A quick thinker who uses initiative and can problem solve calmly.
Experience teaching Musical Theatre to primary aged children.
Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once in a fast moving environment.
A flexible schedule and willingness to adapt when needed.
Commitment to the role for at least 2 years.
