2026 will be Eden Court's 50th anniversary year - a milestone celebrating half a century of creativity, culture and community in the heart of the Highlands. To mark this occasion, we are developing a creative exhibition celebrating the people that have been part of Eden Court's story. We are seeking a skilled freelancer to lead the process of developing this exhibition from concept to delivery. We intend to run a public callout inviting members of the public to share their experiences of Eden Court from across the last 50 years. Alongside this, some of the stories may also come from community discussions and targeted outreach to individuals and groups connected to Eden Court's history. A selection of these stories will be curated into an exhibition that celebrates the diversity of people and experiences that have shaped Eden Court across the past five decades. We are open to the format that the exhibition may take. For example, it could be: This means we are also open to the type of experience that the freelancer brings - this could be curatorial, or it could be filmmaking, visual arts or community engagement. Our key aims are that the exhibition is broadly engaging for a wide and diverse audience, and that it celebrates a cross-section of people and experiences.
