Description
To devise and deliver a programme of activities at Henry Moore Studios & Gardens, aimed at encouraging Family participation, focusing on Henry Moore’s work, influences and life at Perry Green, whilst nurturing creativity and intergenerational play.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, design and deliver a programme of family events and activities, that provide vibrant, fun and participatory experiences that help to bring Henry Moore and his work to life for children and their accompanying adults.
- Develop self-guidedresources such as art packs and trails for family visitors.
- Developresources that support wellbeing and encourage families to learn about and enjoy nature.
- Develop a programme of low-cost activities that increase attendance, e.g. by using national and international celebrations as themes for family activities.
- Represent Henry Moore Studios & Gardens atkey community outreach events that showcase the Studios & Gardens' family offer.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop opportunities to increase family attendance.
- Proactively gather and analyse feedback after events, incorporate improvements, reporting on these regularly.
- Identify new opportunities to inspire and engage families.
- Ensure best practice in promoting access to the arts.
- Establish partnerships with local and community organisations to encourage a broad take-up of facilities at Henry Moore Studios & Gardens.
- Work alongside the Engagement Curator to deliver complementary activities.
- Work with the marketing team on promotional activities, to help deliver visitor number targets to increase attendance.
- Assist with the development and delivery of other programmes as required.
- Adhere to the highest standards of safeguarding and keep up to date with any training.
- Any other duties that may be reasonably required.
