Description

Job Summary

We’re looking for submissions from artists and theatre makers who would like to test out a new piece of work for young audiences, or an idea in development that is made for children and young people. We are particularly interested in hosting live performance, but all art forms are welcome to submit.

Job Description

Luton Feb Fest is an arts festival for families, delivered in partnership with The Culture Trust, Luton. Over the course of the weeklong festival we welcome around 1,500 children and families from Luton and beyond. The festival is a great platform to try out new ideas and test work in progress. Last year we hosted a programme of work in progress and scratch performances as part of our Creative Playground Artist Development programme and we're looking for artists to join us at our 2025 festival with new ideas and creative opportunities for children and young people.

Overview:

We will provide a space at The Hat Factory Arts Centre in Luton, in which to share your work with a small audience of children and families

You can have up to 45 minutes with your audience (this includes gathering feedback).

We will facilitate and curate feedback, Q&A and audience responses, as agreed in advance with the selected artists.

You can choose to get advice and feedback from Full House Theatre's Creative team after your event.

We can support some simple tech requirements (please identify tech needs in your proposal).

To facilitate this opportunity we will cover travel and access cost for the selected artists and offer a stipendiary fee of £50.

You will need to be available on either Thursday 20th or Friday 21st February 2025

Please complete the submission form below before 16th December, (we may close applications early if we are oversubscribed).

If you have any questions or need to submit your application in an alternative format, please email mailto:[email protected] - [email protected] or call the Full House office: 01525 630783
