Rochdale Development Agency's (RDA) Culture and Placemaking Team is seeking to recruit a Festival and Film Technical Production Officer to help us to deliver our ambitious plans for culture, creativity and regeneration This is a great time to be joining the team. The Festival and Film Technical Production Officer will play a pivotal role in supporting the technical delivery of a range of strategic Festivals and Events including Rochdale's Greater Manchester Town of Culture 25-26. You'll also work closely with the Film Office Manager, liaising with Film Production Companies, key Council departments, Community and Commercial partners to support the smooth running of Rochdale's new Film Office to maximise income generation opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a significant technical background, project management and logistics experience in the festival sector, a strong understanding of the challenges faced by the sector and excellent contacts. We are looking for someone that is energetic, organized and creative, a motivated, entrepreneurial self-starter that can confidently manage an exciting and varied workload incorporating multiple work streams.
