Description

Job Summary

We require an experienced, engaging Arts or charitable marketing professional, ideally with regional knowledge and relevant networks, who is ambitious to bring a first-class literary event to as many people as possible. You need to be free to attend the festival itself (18-20 July).

Job Description

The freelance Festival Marketing Lead reports directly to the Festival Director but will be supported by, and offer support to, the whole Festival team as required - working especially with the Communications Lead.

Everyone on the Primadonna Festival team is expected to roll their sleeves up and 'get stuck in' doing whatever is necessary as the festival date approaches, to support each other and make it a success. As a small team, we all rely on each other to deliver, so managing your own time and expectations and working to your own schedule is crucial.

£150 per day freelance part-time contract, for 20 days. Working hours are remote and flexible, agreed with the director to enable attendance at necessary joint meetings. Working days to be spread out (in a work pattern agreed with the Director to align with key dates) between 10 February and 15 September 2025.

Key festival dates 2025:

28/2/25: Marketing and Communications plan signed off

5/3/25: Headliner announcement

16/3/25: Primadonna Prize and Writers Camp closes for submissions

5/5/25: Lineup announcement
