Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic Team Members to help deliver an unforgettable festival experience from Saturday 17 October to Sunday 25 October 2026. This opportunity offers a chance to be at the heart of a major cultural event, engaging with visitors and ensuring smooth operations across various festival venues in Leicester. If you're passionate about hospitality, guest services, arts and culture and thrive in lively environments, this is your moment to shine!

We are looking for both Festival Ambassadors and Survey Evaluators to work at various sites both indoor and outdoor based in and around the City Centre of Leicester and Highfields areas.

Shifts of 3.5-6 hours per day are available over 9 days.

All training, refreshments and breaks will be provided.

Job Requirements

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse audiences

Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism

Flexible availability during the festival dates, including days, evenings and weekends as needed. We will discuss your availability during our initial telephone conversation following submission of your interest to the role

Demonstrated teamwork skills and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving

Basic organisational skills for managing tasks efficiently under supervision

Be able to work both indoors and outdoors and be on your feet for long periods of time

Job Responsibilities

Welcome festival attendees with warmth and enthusiasm, providing information and assistance to enhance their experience

Manage guest flow at entrances, exits, and key event areas to ensure safety and efficiency

Support venue operations by assisting with event setup and breakdown, and ensuring smooth logistics

You may also be required to conduct audience feedback surveys to contribute to Arts Council England evaluation reports using a tablet-based survey system and approaching members of the audience at our events. All equipment and training will be provided.

Deliver exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining a positive atmosphere

Collaborate with team members and management to uphold festival standards and safety protocols

Assist in supporting the team during busy periods to ensure seamless event delivery
