Your responsibilities

  • End-to-end event management, leading the planning and delivery of Wildkind events & experiences to a high standard.
  • Management of each event's budget, ensuring each event meets its profit targets without compromising on quality.
  • Creation and management of all event paperwork and documentation, including production schedules, EMPs, contingency and emergency plans.
  • Leading the design of event site plans (using AutoCAD or similar) with consideration of customer experience, operational efficiencies, lisencising and H&S regulations.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders such as venue owners, local authorities, emergency services and local residents.
  • Managing project timelines, ensuring key milestones are met.
  • Line management of event programme manager.
  • Procurement of all suppliers and staff for delivery of events, building an effective network of highly skilled and reliable contractors and suppliers.
  • Onsite event management & delivery, overseeing suppliers, trader & bar managers, site manager & production team, ensuring events run punctually.
  • Building detailed processes across the event management lifecycle, ranging from supplier procurement to onsite volunteer management.
  • Researching, developing & testing potential new event formats.

Job Requirements

  • Depth of Knowledge: 5+ years experience festival / outdoor event management roles on events over 2500 capacity and 2+ years line management experience.
  • Site Plan Design: Experience designing sites, focusing on both customer experience and operational efficiencies.
  • Budgeting: Evidence of budget creation & management for events (minimum 500k).
  • People Management: Evidence of recruiting managing a variety of people, from full time employees, to both creative & technical suppliers and freelancers.
  • Issue Resolution: Ability to prioritise conflicting challenges onsite, deciding on and communicating resolutions to issues clearly.
  • Communication: Ability to clearly communicate, from SAG meetings to venue owners and large onsite teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Documentation: Experience creating EMPs, detailed production schedules & working with project management software to create event timelines.
  • Highly skilled in Autocad or similar mapping software
  • Expert knowledge of the Purple Guide and associated regulations and best practices for delivering large scale events.

Desirable additions

  • Driving Licence
  • Health & Safety Qualification (e.g. IOSH)
