This position is advertised as a part-time freelance role, with a pro rata salary of £27,000 per annum. Pushkin House is a dynamic arts organization which continues to critically explore complicated Russian cultural, historical and political legacy and provides a platform to artists and creative practitioners from Russia, Central and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia, focusing on themes of identity, citizenship, migration, displacement and belonging. Pushkin House is currently undergoing a period of change and transformation. You will provide comprehensive financial and administrative management to facilitate the smooth running and effectiveness of the charity. The Finance Manager will provide the Board and Executive Director with the most accurate financial information at all times, underpinning financial planning and optimizing fundraising. This role requires practical, hands-on experience of delivering the wide range of finance and accounting services required by a small business or charity; you will have a sound working knowledge of Xero and Google Sheets/Excel; strong attention to detail, producing work with a high level of accuracy; excellent written and oral communication skills and an ability to use information effectively and apply sound judgment in order to make decisions.
