About this Role The Royal Academy of Arts is currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to join us on a fixed term contract basis. As the Financial Controller, this role will oversee all control and compliance activities at the RA and lead and develop the RA's accounting services and Payroll and Pensions team. You will manage the external audit process including preparing the annual statutory accounts, and act as the main internal advisor on all Gift Aid and VAT matters. About You To be considered for this role, you will be a qualified accountant (ideally ACA or ACCA), with significant experience in financial management, audit and compliance. You will be comfortable with accounting standards, including Charity SORP, and technical guidance, as well as have excellent working knowledge of Gift Aid and VAT. Working knowledge of UK payroll and pensions regulations is key to this post, as is previous experience managing payroll and pensions. Job Summary
