Creative Kids based in Boscombe, believes the arts are a powerful instrument for social change and when projects use the arts to engage, inspire and nurture the creative potential of children, creative communities are born and flourish. We are looking for freelance artists specialising in any art form from traditional arts to performance , photography and music. As a freelance artist working with us at Creative Kids you will need your own Public Liability Insurance as well as ideally an enhanced DBS check as you will be working with children aged 6-14 years old. At Creative Kids we run holiday arts clubs for all 12 weeks of the school holidays. During our opening hours 8am-6pm we offer 2 arts workshops per day which are 2 hours long each. We aim to offer our children a range of experiences and arts enrichment that they may not have the opportunity to experience at home or school. During these workshops as a freelance artist we would be expecting you to create a lesson plan so we have an idea of structure , deliver the workshop engaging with the children and sharing your own practice. As we are a charity we are able to offer artists £25 per hour for the delivery of a workshop however fees can be discussed. We are looking forward to connecting with you.
