Powered by CAN is recruiting dynamic and passionate freelance creative practitioners to join our arts collective and talent pool of creative facilitators. We are looking for skilled individuals across a variety of art forms to deliver high-quality programmes, workshops, and masterclasses for young people aged 2 to 21 years in the Black Country. Our programmes cover a broad spectrum of creative disciplines and are designed to inspire, educate, and engage children and young people through participatory learning and artistic expression. If you are an experienced facilitator in one of the following areas, we would love to hear from you: Media & amp; Digital Content Performing Arts Visual Arts Cultural Skills Creative Enterprise Responsibilities: Design and deliver innovative and engaging workshops, masterclasses, and programmes that are age-appropriate and aligned with Powered by CAN's objectives. Foster a positive, inclusive, and creative environment that encourages active participation from children and young people. Tailor content to suit different age groups (2 to 21 years), ensuring a balance between educational value and creative expression. Collaborate with Powered by CAN's Arts Collective to share ideas, resources, and best practices. Report on the progress and impact of workshops and activities. Ensure all activities comply with safeguarding standards and policies. Skills & Experience: Proven experience in one or more of the following areas: Media & Digital Content, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Cultural Skills, or Creative Enterprise. A strong portfolio of creative work and/or previous teaching or facilitation experience. Ability to work with children and young people from diverse backgrounds and tailor approaches to different age groups. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a creative team. Relevant qualifications and/or professional experience in your chosen art form.Job Description
