The Cheltenham Trust is looking for an experienced marketing professional to support the team during an exciting period of organisational transformation, as we look ahead with a new strategic vision and refreshed marketing approach. This is a hands-on role, working closely with the Head of Marketing and the wider marketing team to embed an audience focused, data-driven and creative approach to planning and executing marketing campaigns across the Trust and our five venues spanning culture, heritage and leisure. We are looking for a confident marketer with experience of working in the cultural sector across commercial and community focused campaigns. You will be as comfortable with campaign management as getting stuck into the detail, with this role predominantly focused on supporting and developing the team to deliver impactful campaigns. Location Office based (across venues within Cheltenham) or hybrid with regular days on site in Cheltenham. We will not consider fully remote applications

Experience of working in a marketing role within the cultural sector, including planning and delivering marketing campaigns (outdoor, paid social media, content creation)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including copywriting and proofing with absolute attention to detail and an eye for design.
Collaborative with a proven ability to work within a team, playing a proactive role in delivery.
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Experience of digital marketing, including curating social media channels, and producing digital content.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines
Sound numeracy skills.
A confident and professional manner with a positive can-do attitude.
Knowledge of Spektrix and DotDigital or other box office and email marketing systems
Experience of line or task managing staff
Experience of working in the Leisure Industry or for an integrated Leisure & Culture TrustJob Responsibilities
Support the marketing team to plan and execute creative and data driven marketing campaigns across our cultural and leisure venues and programme, embedding best practice.
Take the lead on agreed marketing activity, including planning and coordinating video shoots, photography, and digital marketing campaigns.
Assist the Marketing Manager with driving forward campaigns and ensuring that activity is delivered on time and to budget
Support the team to devise and write effective, accurate copy for print and online channels that reflects the Cheltenham Trust's vision and is tailored to the target audiences.
Develop positive relationships with key venue contacts and stakeholders to support a collaborative approach to marketing and communications. How to Apply
