Location: Haydon Bridge School, Northumberland
Contract Duration: Spring Term 2025

Overview
Queen's Hall Arts is seeking two experienced and dynamic freelance musicians/music workshop leaders to work with Haydon Bridge School to deliver a creative and inspiring music project for Key Stage 3 students.

The project will feature 32 drop-down days, where each class will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in music, and will culminate in two performances: one in school and one in the community.

The role includes preparation, rehearsal, and delivery of workshops, fostering creativity and engagement with students, and ensuring the final performances are memorable and impactful.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver 32 drop-down days of music workshops for Key Stage 3 students.
  • Collaborate with school staff and students to develop performance pieces.
  • Facilitate creative exploration, ensuring a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Prepare for workshops and performances with up to five days planning (to be undertaken flexibly in advance of delivery).
  • Lead two rehearsal days to prepare students for the final performances.
  • Support and organise two culminating performances, one in school and one in the community.
