Rural Arts is seeking an experienced event photographer to photograph our Bookmarked: Thirsk 2026 Launch weekend on Friday 11th September, Satuday 12th September and Sunday 13th September. This is our flagship project funded through the Vibrant and Sustainable High Street Fund. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative freelancer with experience of photographing events working indoor and outdoors. We would like to document all the wonderful workshops and events that are taking place across Thirsk in The Courthouse, Rural Arts and at our partner venues: Thirsk Community Library, The Ritz Cinema, White Rose Book Caf , Community Works, James Herriot Museum and Thirsk Tourist Information. The photos will then be used to promote our programme/events that will take place throughout the year. The project is a townwide cultural programme celebrating books, storytelling and creativity.
