The company will be embarking on the second phase of development for their children's theatre show, Mika and the Polar Bear. This activity takes place Dec-April, with 24 performances between Feb-April. The Producer will support the company with the logistical delivery of this R&D and test tour, as well as planning and preparing for it's future tour in winter 2026/27. The producer will also work closely with the company and it's board to steer the general governance and direction of the company and it's future activity. Alongside this project, the Producer will also support the company with the inception of a new production for rural touring spaces. This will include planning, relationship development and fundraising.
Although this is a freelance position, the company aims to work on a longterm basis with their producer, funding their time beyond single projects.
The initial fee for the work is £3500, this is based on 14 days of work between Dec & April. With additional funding to be secured for contracted hours beyond this initial fee. Job Requirements
