We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager to grow our online presence and drive engagement through social media and paid advertising. Our most popular courses are on Natural Crafts, with activities using willow, leaves, bark, clay and cleavers.

Who We're Looking For:

You're an experienced social media manager and paid ads specialist with a strong grasp of Facebook/Meta Ads, audience engagement, and digital marketing strategies. You're creative yet analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management

  • Plan, create, and schedule a minimum of 12+ engaging posts per month across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), and TikTok.
  • Design branded graphics in Canva and schedule content using Later.
  • Engage with the online community: reply to comments, manage group memberships, and invite engaged users to follow.
  • Ensure all video content includes subtitles.
  • Maintain and update a content planner, ensuring alignment with marketing goals.
  • Monitor audience growth and engagement trends, providing monthly insights.

Facebook Ads & Paid Media

  • Manage and optimise Meta/Facebook Ads for lead generation, webinars, and product promotions.
  • Monitor ad performance, adjust strategies, and ensure the right audiences are reached.
  • Use audience segmentation tools (custom audiences, lookalikes, etc.) for better targeting.

Campaign & Launch Support

  • Assist in social media campaigns and product launches (approx. 4 per year).
  • Set up ads for launches and create additional marketing content as needed.
  • Analyse campaign performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

General Admin & Coordination

  • Keep marketing materials and digital assets organised in Google Drive.
  • Track tasks and updates using Trello or similar project management tools.
  • Provide weekly progress updates and participate in monthly marketing meetings.

Hours & Compensation:

£25 per hour | Minimum 5 hours per week
Flexible working hours, with some availability required during launches (agreed in advance).
Additional hours may be requested with at least 14 days' notice before a launch.

Knowledge of email marketing and digital funnels (a plus).
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently.
Experience using Canva for social media graphics.
Familiarity with Later for scheduling and content planning.
