Scratch is a way for artists to share unfinished, in-progress work with an audience in order to get feedback and test ideas. You will need to be sociable and up for a conversation with audiences before and after your performance.

Your project will be in the initial, early stages of development and ready to share with a test audience. You may have already shared a segment, or this may be your first outing of the idea. You will need to be self-sufficient, able to access rural and remote locations, flexible with get-ins, and able to work with minimal to no technical support. Most venues will only have very basic equipment available (if any), so if your show requires anything more complex, you'll need to provide and operate your own kit.
