Description

Job Summary

We are recruiting for a confident, engaging and welcoming person to join our team. Our Customer Experience team are the people that our visitors come to know and recognise - they represent our Charity. So we are seeking the right personality, a skillful communicator and passion, above all else.

Job Description

We are recruiting for a confident, engaging and welcoming person to join our team as Front of House Manager.

This role is a mixture of administrative work, managing our bar staff and volunteer ushers, duty managing performances and events, servicing and restocking The Theatre's bar and ensuring our customers have an excellent experience every time they step through our doors.

This is a full time post, which could be 40 hours a week all year, or 35 hours during 10 months of the year and 40 hours during the 2 month panto run at Christmas (depending on the preference of the candidate). The hours are worked across a full mix of daytime, evenings and weekends depending on the rota, and we operate a Time off in Lieu system for busy or quieter weeks.

Our ideal candidate will love working with people and have an innate feel for great hospitality and customer service. An understanding of live performances would be a benefit, but by no means a requirement. Our Customer Experience team are the people that our visitors come to know and recognise - they represent our Charity. So we are seeking the right personality, a skillful communicator and passion, above all else.

This is an opportunity for someone developing their career in hospitality or for someone looking to retrain in something new.
