Peppa Pig Surprise Party is a brand new immersive experience in Metrocentre, Gateshead. Produced by the team who brought you Doctor Who: Time Fracture, 'Peaky Blinders: The Rise' and currently running 'The Traitors Live Experience' in Londons Covent Garden. This immersive experience brings ot life the world of Peppa Pig for children ages 2-6 years old. It is a lot of fun, including puppetry, sensory interactions, singing and dancing, and lots of special in world delights. We are seeking fun, friendly and customer-oriented Front of House staff to join our team. The ideal candidate must have lots of energy as they will be responsible for greeting patrons (predominantly children) and assisting them throughout the experience, this includes (but not limited to) ticketing, onboarding patrons, escorting patrons through the venue and showing them all the fun elements of experience. The Front of House Staff will also be responsible for credit card transactions, merchandise sales, interacting with patrons, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a vital role within the structure of Gateshead's newest Immersive Experience based on the popular TV show Peppa Pig and will be a very exciting opportunity to be a part of. Role is based on between 15-25 hours per week. While we do offer flexibility as the retail part of the experince is open 7 days a week we do require weekend work as part of the actual experience. Key responsibilities: The role will be a mix of the responsibilities below on a rotating schedule that will mean everyone will be doing some of everything but not on every shift. Ticketing: Check/scan tickets on entry into the venue; Be familiar with electronic ticketing systems and POS devices (training will be provided); Be the first engagement with patrons entering the venue. Merchandise: Be familiar with POS systems and taking card payments; Replenish stock as and when needed; Maintaining a clean and inviting merchandise area. There will be a shop within the experience that will open first with the main experience opening in the new year; Reporting on any stock issues correctly. Room reset: The rooms may require resetting between visits. This will be determined and confirmed by the creatives; Cleaning (removing rubbish, wiping tables, emptying bins) will be needed during throughout. Audience interaction: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. You will likely be their first and last connection to the experience so an engaging and confident demeanour is very important; Take ownership of onboarding allocated groups of patrons to the rules of the venue and escort them to the correct area within timeframes. This would require speaking directly to groups and making the start of their experience an entertaining one. You set the tone for the show; This is children's show, so experience and patience with children is a must.
