Job Description

You will take ownership of fundraising activity across the organisation - developing communications, building relationships with donors and members, and delivering income through, individual giving, events and corporate support. At the same time, you will manage the practical detail that underpins successful fundraising, including stewardship and our CRM system. A major priority is developing and delivering a fundraising campaign for our 20th anniversary in 2027.
This role will suit someone who is able to thrive in a small organisation, working with the Director, you will lead on understanding our audiences, developing the right messages and creating compelling donor journeys that build long term relationships. Leading with our brand, marketing, fundraising, line managing the communications team, you will combine strategic thinking with direct delivery and setting the standard for excellent donor and member care.

Job Requirements

We are looking for someone who combines experience with energy, confidence and adaptability.

Essential Experience & Skills
Proven record in fundraising, income generation marketing and audience development.
Demonstrable success securing income from donors & corporates or campaigns.
Ability to successfully implement fundraising strategies and campaigns with proven results.
Knowledge of Raiser's Edge to manage data, track activity and support relationship-building.
Confidence and skill in collaborating closely with senior volunteers, and meeting donors and supporters face-to-face.
A good understanding of digital channels and how they can be used to engage and grow
Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
A hands-on, flexible attitude and a collaborative leadership style.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and deliver the donor development program and individual giving strategy, growing income from on-off-gifts, regular giving, membership, mid-level donors and legacies.
Plan and deliver compliant, multi-channel campaigns that grow membership, strengthen loyalty and build long term relationships.
Lead the delivery of the Lightbox20 anniversary campaign, creating compelling cases for support, preparing fundraising collateral, and engaging supporters and stakeholders.
Identify and develop new fundraising opportunities, partnerships and income streams.
Develop cultivation and stewardship plans, including face-to-face meetings, events, and personalised engagement.
Develop and implement a communication strategy that enables impactful communications with members and supporters.
Confidently represent the organisation when meeting donors and supporters.
Develop and promote opportunities for Legacy bequests.
Work collaboratively across the organisation
