The Fundraising & Financial Development Officer is a mid-level post responsible for developing and managing a range of income streams to support The Modernist Society CIC's programmes and operations. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will lead on trust and foundation fundraising, public sector arts and heritage grant applications, corporate partnerships, memberships and sales-related income initiatives. Demonstrable experience of writing high-quality, persuasive funding applications and reports.
Sound understanding of the UK arts, culture, and/or heritage funding landscape and the range of public sector funding bodies operating within it.
Experience of managing a fundraising pipeline and working to income targets.
Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to adapt style and tone for different audiences and funders.
Strong research skills and attention to detail.
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a small team.
