The internship is a joint role offering experience in both the the Archive Department and the Front Desk team, and provides a broad insight into the daily operations of the gallery. You will spend part of the week in the archive office, assisting the Digital and Archive Manager with a range of digital and physical archiving tasks, including image processing using Photoshop. For the remainder of the week, you will be based at the front desk in one of the galleries, acting as the first point of contact for visitors and providing administrative, organisational, and project-based support to the wider gallery team. You will be mentored by both the Digital and Archive Manager and Gallery Associate, and will work closely with the Gallery Assistant. The internship will be paid at the National minimum wage of £12.71 per hour, and is available on a full-time basis (5 days per week, Monday-Friday).
