Reporting to the Gallery Director this is a full-time position with immediate start. The role will contribute to the day-to-day running and development of the gallery including administrative tasks, sales and shipping. Required: - Great Organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail - Excellent computer, written and communication skills - Previous experience in a gallery role - Interest in Fine Art Desired: - Proficiency in photoshop is highly desirable - Experience in social media, Brevo newsletters and website management Responsible for all registrar tasks within the gallery. This includes (but is not limited to) managing the stock database, organising artwork logistics, domestic and international shipments and dealing with all import and export documentation. - Assist the Director in managing exhibitions and art fair coordination. - Responsible for the completion of research, discovery of provenance and write up of all new artworks acquired by the gallery. - Write and edit gallery marketing material including digital media, press releases and in-house exhibition catalogues. - Upload images and information for all new acquisitions onto the gallery's website and secondary sale platforms. - Oversee the daily gallery management tasks including purchasing shipping materials and office supplies. - Provide a warm welcome to gallery visitors which includes having advanced knowledge of the gallery and the ability to confidently answer visitor questions. - Create and maintain relationships with clients Please send over your CV to [email protected]Job Summary
