Job Requirements
- Enthusiasm for craft, design and supporting independent makers.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable handling stock, merchandising, pricing and sales.
- Well organised, reliable and able to work independently.
- A positive team player who is willing to help where needed.
- Comfortable with light manual handling of stock and artwork.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365.
- Experience creating engaging social media content.
- Flexible to support occasional evening and weekend events.
- Experience using EPOS or till systems.
- Experience with Photoshop or social media scheduling tools.
- Experience handling, packing or shipping artwork or fragile goods.
- Experience supporting events, workshops or private views.Job Responsibilities
- Assist with artwork and stock packing, shipping, installation and presentation.
- Provide excellent customer service and support retail sales on the shop floor.
- Help manage stock, merchandising, pricing and EPOS.
- Support events, including bookings, set-up, hosting and pack-down.
- Help with the day-to-day running of the gallery, including opening, closing, health & safety and security.
- Build positive relationships with makers, visitors, suppliers and partners.
- Capture and create content to support marketing and promotion.
- Represent Cockpit and its makers with warmth and professionalism.Useful Links
