Overview of Role:

Disney Theatrical Group is seeking a General Management Intern for the upcoming Bristol production of Disney's The Greatest Showman. Are you passionate about theatre and the creative process behind the scenes? This internship is an exciting opportunity for Bristol-based individuals to gain hands-on experience in general management and creative production on a large-scale musical.

You'll work closely with the General Management office, providing essential administrative and production support. You'll play a key role in assisting with tasks such as booking travel and accommodation, setting up rehearsal spaces, making purchases for stage management and technical departments, printing scripts and supporting the team wherever needed.

You'll also attend Meet and Greets and rehearsals, run ad hoc errands, provide refreshments for the creative and technical teams and contribute to opening night preparations. Previous theatre experience isn't required - just a genuine enthusiasm for theatre!

What We're Looking For:

  • Enthusiasm to Learn: Eager to develop new skills and take on challenges.
  • Deadline-Oriented: Ability to work to deadlines and effectively under pressure.
  • Team Player: Works well both independently and collaboratively.
  • Flexible Availability: Willing to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Theatre Skills (Desirable): Interest in theatre production or the creative process - experience helpful but not essential.

Additional Information

  • Location: Bristol, Hippodrome
  • Contract Type: Fixed-Term
  • Start Date: February 2026
  • End Date: April 2026
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Schedule: Tuesday to Sunday (evening and weekend show schedule)
  • Health & Safety: This role will require the candidate to understand and follow the Health and Safety Rules & Regulations at the production.
  • This role is offered with a competitive salary.
