The General Manager will work closely with the senior leadership team to support our people, policies and systems, embedding our commitment to justice, sustainability and inclusion into the heart of how we work. This is an ideal role for someone with strong administrative or company management experience who wants to help shape the culture and infrastructure of one of the UK's leading touring theatre companies. Salary: £40,000 pro rata (£24,000) per annum Experience & Knowledge Skills & Attributes The General Manager is the human resources lead for the organisation, working closely with the Executive Director to ensure that all our people are supported from recruitment, to induction and throughout their journey with Headlong. They will take a central role in ensuring our company policies are innovative, fair and drive best practice in all areas. They will lead on internal communications and information sharing. The General Manager will ensure that our Trustees feel well communicated with and take a lead on monitoring the data relating to our workforce and our environmental policy and action plan. The General Manager will support the Finance Director with payroll, banking and managing the administrative budgets. They will enable the organisation to work efficiently by managing the IT and phone operations and helping to create a well organised, dynamic and welcoming working environment.
