Job Description

At The Strings Club, we are looking for a super friendly and experienced Guitar, Ukulele & Violin teachers to join us at our Leamington Spa Holiday Club over the Summer.

Wc 14th July

Wc 28th July

Wc 11th Aug

Wc 25th Aug *excl the public holiday

We have a number of positions available. Working hours are 9am-1pm Mon-Thurs & 12:30pm-4:30pm Fri

Includes 2 x 45 mins lessons (max) + 2.5 hours pastoral care PLUS lots of fun! Instruments are provided by us for the children.

Job Requirements

Essential Qualities

  • To have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Personable, approachable, confident and well presented
  • Have a degree in Music or any other related arts subject
  • Be able to create dynamic, versatile and high-quality lesson plans
  • Are over the age of 18 and have the right to work in the UK

Desirable Qualities:

  • Have a knowledge of music and/or music in primary education
  • A "go to" attitude and a willingness to "go that extra mile"

Job Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leading dynamic group lessons with high energy and an enthusiastic attitude
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to by yourself and children in your care - including health and safety, and safeguarding policies
  • Implement routine checks of instruments to ensure they are in good condition
