At The Strings Club, we are looking for friendly and experienced guitar, violin or ukulele teachers to join us for fun-filled work at our 5* rated music-based Holiday Camps. We have a range of roles to suit you plus our venues are all located close to handy transport links.

Hours to choose from:
- String Teachers: 9am - 1pm (Mon - Thu) + 12pm - 4pm (Fri)
** Holiday Camp work includes 2 x 45 mins lessons and the rest is pastoral care (eg having fun with the kids!).

The Strings Club is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all team members to share this commitment. Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including at least two checks with past employers (character references are now being accepted), the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), as well as child protection training.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Leading dynamic group lessons with high energy and an enthusiastic attitude
- Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to by yourself and children in your care - including health and safety, and safeguarding policies
- Implement routine checks of instruments to ensure they are in good condition
Essential Qualities
- Personable, approachable, confident and well presented
- Have a degree in Music or any other related arts subject
- Be able to create dynamic, versatile and high-quality lesson plans
- Are over the age of 18 and have the right to work in the UK
Desirable Qualities:
- Have a knowledge of music and/or music in primary education
- A "go to" attitude and a willingness to "go that extra mile"
- Hold a previous DBS check which is registered on the DBS Update Service
