The Safeguarding & Camp Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the welfare, safety and inclusion of all children attending our holiday programme. Working closely with programme staff, families and external agencies where required, you will help create a positive & supportive environment. Most importantly, we are seeking someone who shares our commitment to creating safe, inclusive and inspiring opportunities for children and young people. Experience working with children and young people. Strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and best practice. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to remain calm, professional and responsive when managing concerns. Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one before starting). Commitment to equality, inclusion and child-centred practice. Assist with staff inductions and safeguarding briefings. Co-ordination of staff and camps (leadership skills neccessary). Support the overall wellbeing and engagement of children throughout the programme. Contribute to programme evaluation and reporting.
