The Head of Place and Partnerships will lead and manage strategic partnerships and place-focused initiatives to enhance cultural development, inclusion and sustainability. You will support enterprise and ensure that the city and its people, benefit from the rich culture and its potential to deliver the outcomes identified in our Cultural Strategy. Therefore, we seek a person with exceptional collaboration, strategic planning, and project management skills to work closely with our stakeholders across multiple sectors to drive initiatives that promote sustainable cultural infrastructure, economic growth and social inclusion Salary: £47,500 - £52,500 Hours: 37.5 hours per week Person Specification Experience Contract development / management Strong track record in the high-quality cultural development Strong track record of collaboration and co-commissioning Managing a team Programme and project management Developing and managing budgets Liaising with a range of organisations and individuals at many levels, including local authorities, the third sector, businesses and investors Fundraising and seeking investment Knowledge Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software Excellent written and oral communication skills, including report writing Knowledge of the arts and creative industries Personal characteristics Passionate about culture and creativity Excellent diplomacy, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively and maturely with diverse communities. Positive and supportive attitude in keeping with building a joyous and productive work culture Leading the PCA With the PCA Board, lead strategic and business planning and be accountable for the delivery of PCA's objectives, particularly in relation to growing our key strategic Partnerships Manage the PCA's committees, meeting the committee's Terms of Reference and supporting the Chair with strategic development and oversight Partnership Development Identify, establish, and manage strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including, Cultural organisations and individuals, Local Authorities, developers, non-profits, businesses, and community organisations Negotiate and manage partnership agreements to ensure mutual benefits and successful outcomes Stakeholder/Community Engagement Act as the primary liaison between PCA, its Members and external stakeholders Finance, Fundraising & Reporting Maintain monthly finance reports and quarterly Management Reports for the Exec and Board, highlighting and finding solutions for key variances.
