- Co-ordinate the efficient management of the stage department - Encourage and nurture the working practice and development of all members of the department and maintain the department's integrity at all times - Supervise all hiring of stage team staff - Be prepared to teach or learn any show plots when necessary - Undertake the Head of Stage plot for performances, rehearsals and other events as required - Ensure (alongside the Stage Manager) the welfare and safety of all cast and company - Cover the Stage Manager plot if required - Be responsible for the maintenance of all set elements to a high standard - Be involved in the load out/load in to venues when necessary - Creating and supervising all department staffing rotas and providing accurate time sheets on a weekly basis - Providing accurate petty cash returns and supervising all expenditure and ordering - Attend meetings or training courses as required - Attend promotional events such as publicity and photographic calls, press and media interviews and press junkets as required - Being aware of the Producer's health and safety policies and ensuring that requirements in relation to health and safety are met within the department - Upholding and promoting at all times the Producer's child protection policy and related procedures and guidelines - Complying with the Producer's policies and procedures in force from time to time, including but not limited to the Producer's policies on Equal Opportunities, Bullying and Harassment, Social Media, Data Protection Apply online via: https://careers.cameronmackintosh.com/Job Summary
