Head of Visitor Operations, The Auckland Project

Reporting into the Director of Operations, you will lead the Visitor Operations team, developing an exemplar visitor experience that reflects the values of the organisation. You will liaise with other departments across the organisation to ensure that the attractions are presented to a consistently high standard and that our operations are safe and compliant.

The role will suit someone who identifies with TAP's purpose and understands the importance of combining regenerative activity into the visitor operation as well as looking for an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced, multi-site visitor destination. You will need to demonstrate strong leadership, be an articulate communicator, capable of building the confidence in colleagues and partners at all levels internally and externally. You will also have the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively in appropriate styles at all levels.

You must come with a proven track record of developing and leading an operations team in a visitor experience role. The role will also require flexibility and a willingness to be hand's on when needed.

Context: The Auckland Project is a continuously changing and evolving workplace, you would be working within a fast-paced environment where priorities are changing and no two days are the same. We work as one team, supporting each other, moving in the same direction towards a shared vision and purpose. This role will provide vast experience and exposure to the many different roles associated with a running an attraction. Given the sensitivity of the information you will be handling, confidentiality is key.
