Job Requirements
An empathetic and collaborative approach to dealing with people
Experience at a senior management level with responsibility for safeguarding in a school/FE college environment
Awareness of regulatory frameworks
A track record of working with young people particularly those aged 16-19.

- leading on safeguarding training for staff, ensuring that it is legally compliant, promotes best practice and is reflective of the risks identified in the School
- being the first point of contact for any safeguarding disclosures, concerns and referrals, providing expert advice and guidance, completing all necessary documentation and ensuring that full and accurate records are maintained.
- analysing complex and sensitive information and providing regular reports of safeguarding concerns and referrals, risk and risk mitigation strategies to SMT, the safeguarding sub-committee and the Board of Governors.Useful Links
