Tamworth Castle is seeking a heritage and community engagement consultant to deliver a short consultation project exploring the legacy of Gibbs & Canning, the renowned Victorian terracotta manufacturer once based in Tamworth. The consultant will work with local community groups and residents to engage under-represented audiences with Tamworth's industrial heritage. They will co-deliver three creative consultation workshops alongside a ceramic artist, and carry out 1-2 interviews with local historians or community leaders. The final output will be a concise consultation report (max. 15 pages) with analysis, recommendations, and an executive summary, due by 7 February 2026. This consultation will inform future programming and underpin a future heritage funding application. Fee: £3,225 (inclusive of VAT and all expenses) - based on approximately 9 days of work at £350 per day between October 2025 and February 2026.
