The role: The Higher Education & Research Coordinator will support the Higher Education Team in planning, resourcing and evaluating our Higher Education programme of work. They will support the Higher Education team to ensure that each session is planned, staffed and resourced to a consistently high standard. As a member of both the Higher Education team and Research team, the Higher Education and Research Coordinator will be responsible for the co-administration and successful co-delivery of our Higher Education and Research events. The role is roughly 65% Higher Education work, and 35% Research. The team: Education is at the heart of Shakespeare's Globe. We run a year-round programme of activities, courses and events for schools, families, young people, universities, drama schools, scholars and the general public, both on and off-stage. Activities are aligned with values of social justice, access and Shakespeare for all, delivered across the Education Producing, Higher Education, Learning and Research & Collections teams. Shakespeare's Globe: We celebrate Shakespeare's transformative impact on the world by conducting a radical theatrical experiment. Inspired and informed by the unique historic playing conditions of two beautiful iconic theatres, our diverse programme of work harnesses the power of performance, cultivates intellectual curiosity and excites learning to make Shakespeare accessible for all.
