Do you hold a valid, professional chaperone licence? Do you have experience of chaperoning children within a theatre or school boarding environment? Have you worked with children aged between 9-12? We are looking for House Parents to ensure the safety and well-being of the children whilst in our care, making sure they are properly supervised, have adequate meals and sufficient rest and recreation during their time performing in https://www.rsc.org.uk/the-bfg - The BFG. This will be a weekly part-time job share, with 3-4 days of 24 hour care, followed by 3-4 days off duty. You must have a valid, professional chaperone licence to be eligible and be available for the entire run of the show from 27 October 2025 until 8 February 2026. The residential property is in Stratford-upon-Avon, however House Parents will be expected to travel young performers to and from a London station via train at the start and end of their residential week. The contract will be a split week with another House Parent and will involve a mid-week switch. The pay will be determined on a 24 hour shift basis and will be paid weekly.
