We are seeking an energetic, strategic and results-driven individual to join LSA as Industry Progression Manager, someone who can effectively communicate LSA's ambitious and exciting goals to current and future partners within the creative industries. This dynamic and fast-paced role calls for an individual who can build strong relationships within the creative industries to create mentoring and work experience opportunities for the Year 13 cohort, to supplement their vocational training and ensure they graduate from LSA sufficiently prepared to achieve their career goals. Candidates should also have a solid understanding of the education and training opportunities available to LSA graduates, including higher education, further education, and apprenticeships. Build and sustain strong working relationships with industry professionals and organisations to facilitate student progression into the creative industries. Manage the LSA Work Experience Programme to create sufficient industry opportunities, ensuring all students engage in some form of work placement during the two-year (Level 3) course. Manage the LSA Mentor Programme, recruiting & training100+ industry professionals from various sectors of the creative industries and pairing them with eligible student mentees. Build strong relationships with Higher and Further Education providers, and working closely with Pastoral Dept., create an effective programme that communicates HE and FE opportunities to students (e.g., UCAS, employability events, etc.). Proactively promote the Mentor and Work Experience programmes to LSA students, parents and carers, as well as LSA staff, to maximise participation in both initiatives.
