The Goethe-Institut London is seeking an IT Manager to support colleagues with day-to-day tech enquiries, maintain the institute's IT infrastructure and help keep teaching, event and library spaces running smoothly. Start date: 12 October 2026 or as soon as possible therafter. This is a part-time position (50%) with a workload of 19.5 hours per week. The position is remunerated in accordance with the current pay scale for locally employed staff of the Goethe-Institutes in the United Kingdom. The full-time equivalent starting salary is £36,595 per annum. Salary will be paid pro rata for the 50% part-time position. Job Requirements
Good understanding of IT infrastructure, user account administration, endpoint support and IT security requirements
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Very good written and spoken English; German language skills would be an advantage but are not essential
Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users and to deliver user guidance and training
Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and solve problems effectively
