ZEALOT is an international creative agency with offices in London, NY and LA, specialising in the film and television industry (trailers, TV spots/digital, promos and print).

We are looking for a talented Junior Online Editor to join our growing and vibrant team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for all AV marketing and be interested in pursuing a career as an online editor - finishing a wide range of assets to the highest possible standards. At ZEALOT we are as passionate about the post process as we are about the creative one, to ensure everything we deliver reflects all the energy and passion that went into its creation.

The role will report to our Director of Post Production and they will be on the front line preparing projects through to final delivery - with quality control crucial at all stages. This will encompass various types of creative assets with varying volumes of deliverables, ranging from trailers, to promos, TV spots, and social/digital spots.

Salary £26,000 to £36,000

(To be discussed depending on experience).

Typical working hours are Monday - Friday 9:30am till 6:30pm, however occasional late working should be expected and there is a fair lieu day policy in place.

Please note, this role is onsite only, so candidates must be able to commute and be legally able to work in the UK.

Job Requirements

  • Must have at least two years working at a post-production facility.
  • Effective communication and proactiveness that drives projects forward professionally and efficiently.
  • An interest in all forms and mediums of creative marketing.
  • Highly technical with a strong understanding of Premiere Pro and Media Encoder.
  • Very knowledgeable of file codecs, frame rates, plugins and have experience working on Apple Mac.
  • Committed, flexible and willing to work in a fast-paced fulfilling environment.
  • Thrive in multitasking and being able to handle multiple projects simultaneously to tight deadlines, across multiple timezones.
  • Highly organised and very precise with excellent attention to detail.
  • A flair for colour grading and good knowledge of Davinci Resolve.
  • Knowledge of After Effects and Avid Media Composer.
  • An important proclivity to ensure client confidentiality and data protection.

Job Responsibilities

  • Preparing locked projects for audio mix - including track-laying and creating AAFs.
  • Creating EDLs, requesting final picture and conforming online material.
  • Resizing and re-versioning for a wide variety of digital assets.
  • Creating and QC'ing final deliverables to extremely high standards - broadcast, theatrical and digital.
  • Downloading footage, managing material and creating offline proxies.
  • Creating and preparing Premiere Pro projects for the offline editors.
