The Kitchen Porter will play a vital role in ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly by keeping it clean, organized, and well-stocked. Full and part-time contracts available, fixed term 6th May 2025 - 27th September 2025. Basic Working Hours: Arranged via rota across 7 days a week. Any additional hours will be paid at the hourly rate. The role will require regular work in the evenings and at weekends, as well as on Bank Holidays. Work Base: Regent's Park Open Air Theatre Salary: £12.85 per hour, paid weekly PAYE. Benefits: Contributory pension scheme. Two complimentary tickets for each of the summer season's lead productions. Annual Leave: Due to the nature of this contract, the successful candidate will not be able to take holiday during the contract unless required by us; payment in lieu of unused holiday entitlement will be made at the end of the contract. The role involves: Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils. Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen tools efficiently. Assist chefs with basic food preparation when needed. Ensure floors, work surfaces, and storage areas are kept tidy and hygienic. Handle and dispose of waste safely and efficiently. Receive and store deliveries, ensuring correct stock rotation. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
