We are looking for a brilliant Lead Dance Facilitator to join our team and lead our regular new Dance and Movement workshops each Thursday from September. Working with an Assistant Dance Facilitator you will deliver fun and engaging workshops that build skills, confidence and creative expression of the group. More about the workshops: Our Movement workshops are part of our core workshops here at Misfits alongside drama, creative wellbeing and poetry. These two new workshops have evolved to offer two different levels for our members: Dance for Performance: 10.30am - 12pm This is our core Movement session working towards sharings and performances. Much of the group have been attending for a long time and are keen to continue to develop their skills, exploring different styles and approaches. Dance for Exercise: 1pm - 2pm This is a new gentler session designed to support people with Movement for Exercise where members can explore creative movement but without the pressure of working towards sharings and performances. We are looking for a Lead Dance Facilitator who is passionate and experienced in working with people with learning disabilities, who can inspire our members and join our existing team of facilitators and staff.
