Writing East Midlands is hiring a Lead Writer for their Beyond The Spectrum Programme lead by and for Autistic writers. To stay true to Beyond The Spectrum's aims - to create an inclusive community for Autistic writers, informed and lead by their own voices - it is essential that writers who apply for this role are Autistic themselves. This role is for a Lead Writer of a workshop group of adults aged 18+ and is located in Bradford District. About Beyond The Spectrum https://beyondthespectrum.uk/ - Beyond The Spectrum invites Autistic and Neurodivergent people to connect with Autistic professional lead writers through a series of creative writing sessions and a love of words. The project has recently gone national, having expanded outside of the East Midlands. About the Role The Lead Writer will devise content and oversee delivery of the workshops, which will be held online, via Zoom. They will have access to resources produced by the project so far, such as workshop plans and prompts. Fee £1,500 (15 x Zoom workshops at £100 per session. Sessions last 1 hour and 30 minutes) This fee is inclusive of all preparation work and materials, workshop leadership, follow-up work and evaluation.
