Beyond our Young Artist programme which trains 16 individuals each year, our Learning and Participation outreach work (previously called Diverse Voices) helps young people explore their own creativity by providing accessible opportunities to opera training. The primary aim of this programme is to champion Equality, Diversity, and Inclusivity and improve access to the sector by removing barriers to training. Working in conjunction with other organisations, it is designed to support performers at various stages of their pathway towards becoming a singer. We work with artists, singers, choirs, Music Hubs, and schools across a variety of levels and platforms, connecting young children to local musical communities all the way to coaching artists who are about to embark on the next steps of training journey.
