Are you highly motivated with a passion for developing and delivering learning and connecting young people to collections and heritage stories? We are looking for someone with experience of museum learning and engagement to review our handling collection and our learning work, with a specific focus on schools. Our goal is to ensure our learning programmes remain relevant, accessible, and impactful for everyone. Wycombe Museum has been delivering excellent learning and engagement experiences for many years. We are looking to build a more flexible model for learning going forward, allowing us to make the best use of our existing resources and maximise our engagement work. You will be working with our excellent wide-ranging handling collection of real historic artefacts and work to ensure it is fit for its role as part of a small and dynamic learning programme, meaning as many young people as possible can benefit from historic objects from their local area. In addition, you will review our learning programmes, focusing on key schools' sessions and informal learning sessions, to make a stream-lined learning plan for the future. Finally, you will undertake delivery of some of these programmes as part of ongoing museum delivery. You will be working as part of a small and dynamic team at Wycombe Museum focused on encouraging collections engagement for all within our area.
