Job Description

London Transport Museum is seeking applications to join our Communities and Participation Team in the role of Learning Manger: Creative Careers. This is one of two roles managing the Creative Careers Programme, which encompasses a range of activities and projects aimed to support diverse young Londoners aged 18-25 to take their next step on their career path in the cultural and creative sectors. These programmes include; Young Freelancers and the Khadija Saye Photography Fellowship, Young Volunteer projects, LTM Apprenticeships, as well as specific programmes for young people with additional needs. Typically, the programmes are small scale but high impact and deep engagement, reaching around 120 young people per year. This role also develops and maintains external partnerships with cultural sector organisations that support and enrich young people's skills programming across London and the UK, including Young Freelancers and Photography Fellowship partners.

Manager roles in Communities and Participation develop and manage the delivery of programmes, projects and engagement activities focused on sector-leading informal learning and engagement, skills-based training and creative co-produced projects. These activities are linked by their commitment to participatory practice, with delivery through responsive participant and community-led models and a focus on strong, long term partnership working with youth and community organisations, as well as with employers in the culture and transport sectors.

The salary for this role is £37,360 per annum.
