Job Summary

We are seeking a Learning Project Manager to join the Bow Arts team. The role holds a key position securing, planning and managing a portfolio of artist-led learning projects. They perform a key operational role to ensure a high quality service for schools and learning settings.

Job Description

The Learning Project Manager will instigate relationships with new learning school clients and maintain and manage excellent working relationships with existing schools. They will provide an information and advisory service in the development of artist-led learning programmes and advocate the work of Bow Arts locally, regionally and nationally. The role includes researching and developing new income generating schools projects and professional development opportunities for teachers, school staff and Learning artists in close consultation with the Head of Learning and the team. The postholder will recruit, manage and monitor artists and other contractors for the programme of work and assist client and contractor planning, drawing on learning from previous projects. The Learning Project Manager will assist clients by ensuring that programming builds on their strengths and addresses their needs, and where possible involves children and young people in shaping the programme. They will follow Bow Arts systems and protocols for planning, contracting, delivery and quality assurance and contribute to the evaluation and monitoring of the programme. The role also includes preparing and monitoring project budgets and finances, overseeing the sales of educational projects and resources, and contributing to the Learning Department marketing plan, including the supply of print and website copy and case studies where required. The Learning Project Manager will contribute to the activities of other departments as directed by the Head of Learning and actively promote the organisation's Safeguarding Policy. Hours: Part time 0.4 (2 days) normal working hours 9am-5pm. Location: On-site Bow Arts office/hybrid Salary range: £28,913 per annum pro rata (actual salary £11,565) Duration: 1 year fixed term, with possibility to extend Reports to: Head of Learning)

Job Requirements

Driven and passionate about improving opportunities and outcomes for children and young people. Experience of devising and managing high quality arts learning projects in collaboration with schools and artists. Experience of building and maintaining excellent relationships with schools and partners. Ability to communicate clearly with and present to school staff, artists and partners. Proven track record of sales in an educational context. Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong attention to detail. Awareness of diversity and inclusion.
