            We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lecturer in Lighting Design & Technology to join our academic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong professional profile in entertainment lighting to inspire and educate the next generation of live event professionals.
 You will:
  - Teach and assess across undergraduate, postgraduate, and short courses, delivering both theory and practice.
  - Support curriculum development and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  - Provide academic and pastoral guidance to students.
  - Engage in research, scholarship, and professional practice to enhance teaching.
  - Develop and maintain strong industry links, fostering opportunities for students.
  - Contribute to course quality assurance and enhancement processes.
  
 We welcome applications from candidates seeking full-time or part-time positions.
 Contract: Open to both full time and part time applications
 Hours: 40 hours full time per week or 20+ part time per week
 Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 pro rata (subject to experience and qualifications)
 About You
 We're looking for candidates who bring:
  - Professional experience in lighting for entertainment
  - Familiarity with vocational higher education.
  - Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  - A degree in a relevant discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
  - Experience teaching at post-compulsory or undergraduate level.
  
 Desirable:
  - Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field.
  - Teaching qualification (PGCHE or FHEA).
  - Expertise in areas such as Pre-Visualisation, CAD, Networking & Show Control, LED wall systems, or moving light maintenance.
