Salary: £35,640 per annum Fixed Term Contract: 10 August 2026 - 30 October 2026 Location: London, BFI Southbank We are looking for a Senior Volunteers Coordinator to lead on all aspects of administration and organisation of volunteer resource at the festival and is responsible for recruiting, scheduling, training, supervising and supporting the festival volunteers. BFI London Film Festival (LFF) runs an Industry & Professional Programme of screenings, events, networking and informal marketplace for around 3,500 film industry professionals alongside the main public festival. What you'll do Lead on the volunteer recruitment process, including applications, shortlisting and interview new volunteers where necessary. Liaise with festival departments to understand their needs and to provide details of volunteers assigned to their events. Manage the Volunteer Team consisting of one Coordinator and one Assistant. Lead on the process of organising volunteer rotas and update in timely manner. Significant demonstrable experience in a similar role within a festival or events environment. Significant demonstrable experience of managing or overseeing volunteer logistics including volunteer resource allocation. Experience managing a small team both in the office and onsite during events. An understanding of volunteers needs including training, support, and safeguarding.
